BASED ON G.B. SHAW’S TONY-NOMINATED PLAY

For 2024, we’re planning to develop a modern adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s satirical comedy, MAJOR BARBARA. Using humor and absurdity, Shaw tackles social maladies of militarism and poverty.  Along the way, he explores rich themes of hypocrisy, power, family, social class, morality — and money!  Shaw is one of only two winners of both the Academy Award and the Nobel Prize for Literature (the other is Bob Dylan).

I would do this again in a heartbeat.

My learning experience was phenomenal.
– Anna Pinchuk, Wellesley College
