“Has an almost mythic quality. With exceptional visual and auditory beauty, the film’s small story, precisely told, is relevant, as good art is, beyond its specific setting. The film reveals characters yet conceals mysteries that haunt the viewer afterwards.”

– Lee Roscoe, Provincetown Banner

“Sophisticated, seamless and powerful. Peter and John is a beautiful but often uncomfortable experience — and that’s what fine filmmaking is all about.”

–  Jim Lowe, The Times Argus
